As a registered charity and not-for-profit, our community is at the heart of Dots n Spots. Our goal is to give the children the best possible start in life - we can only achieve this through our amazing team of dedicated and enthusiastic people who deliver our vision every day.
Career development is very much supported by us at Dots n Spots. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to be the very best version of themselves. It is evident with some of our team members being with us for over 20 years. Our Business Development Manager began her journey as a Nursery Nurse with Dots n Spots and even some of our Room Leaders began their journey's on an Apprenticeship many years ago.

APPRENTICESHIPS
At Dots n Spots we employ apprentices so that they're able to gain hands on experience whilst gaining their Childcare qualification.
We accept apprentice's through various training providers, however we work closely with Redcar & Cleveland College and have built a strong relationship with them.
Apprentice's are able to join us to qualify at a level 2 or level 3 depending on previous GCSE grades or other equivalent qualifications after school.
Our students receive paid "off the job" hours each week to complete their college work or attend college. Reviews are completed with assessors to encourage progression and development both within the qualification and employment.
At Dots n Spots our goal is to train our apprentices to be employable at the end of their qualification, with the majority of who progress through Dots n Spots being taken on as a permanent member of our team.
